The “natural colors” exhibition aims to unveil some species of fauna and flora present in the natural spaces of the Department of Pas-de-Calais. To do this, it relies on the color wheel well known to printers and artists. All the shades are included there by following the mixtures of the three primary colors. To these 12 shades of primary, secondary and tertiary colors are added white and black, representing respectively the mixture of all colors and the absence of color. Birds, mammals, amphibians or even flowers, come and discover part of the range that nature offers us.
This exhibition is accompanied by 5 works from the “Pas-de-Calais life-size” collection which retrace in images the different natural environments present in the department and invite you to take a stroll.
