It is in the heart of the massif of Belledonne, between the French departments of Isere and Savoy, that Sébastien De Danieli has devoted these last seven years to the search for a species as wild as discrete: the Wolf. The photographs in this exhibition are taken from his latest book “As a shadow” and retrace the research and observations of the author, on the ground, to try to interfere in the intimacy of species emblematic of these environments. With the help, among other things, of photographic traps, the author managed to capture the predator as well as the other species of these highland environments. This trip, started on the trail of the Wolves, we discover the wealth of the alpine massifs and a certain natural harmony between predator and prey who rub shoulders with the daily … Through this quest, it is all the wild side of the Alps that the we rediscover. In a great proximity, predators and prey mingle and unveil to make you discover a world still wild. This exhibition will immerse you in the heart of the wild, from dawn to dusk, where the predator is everywhere and nowhere at once, like a shadow …
