The empuse (and its larva, the devil) is a mythical insect for all French macrophotographers. Its very graphic form and its mimicry make it a subject of choice to discover the world of insects from an artistic angle. It is therefore a species that he wanted to immortalize since his photographic beginnings. He has been following a population of this insect since the beginning of 2017. Raising public awareness of Nature through photography allows him, during his exhibitions, to discuss other more general subjects with visitors such as ecology, biodiversity, and in particular its business: biological control. Ultimately, his photographic work could be summed up in one sentence: campaigning for nature in images!
